Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the FeedShaper browser extension (the "Extension" or the "Service").

Capitalized terms used in this Agreement have the meanings defined herein.

Definitions

  • "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to the developer and operator of FeedShaper.
  • "User", "You", or "Your" refers to the individual using the Extension.
  • "Role" means the user-defined identity or persona that You configure in the Extension (e.g., "good student", "health enthusiast").
  • "Preferences" means Your custom like or dislike settings that define how the AI should interact with content to shape Your feed.
  • "Service" means the FeedShaper browser extension, including all related features and functionalities.
  • "X" refers to the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, currently the only supported platform for the Extension.

Acknowledgment

These Terms govern Your use of the Service. By accessing or using the Extension, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy, which explains how We collect and use Your data.

User Accounts and Settings

Users create an account and configure their Role settings and Preferences, which are stored on Our servers. These settings are used by the AI to automatically perform like and dislike actions on supported platforms to shape Your content feed according to Your defined identity.

Service Functionality

FeedShaper is a browser extension that uses AI to automatically interact with social media content (currently X only) by:

  • Analyzing content presented in Your feed
  • Automatically clicking like or dislike buttons based on Your configured Role and Preferences
  • Shaping Your feed over time by teaching the recommendation algorithm what content aligns with Your defined identity

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Extension to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to the terms of service of X or any other platform.
  • Interfere with the functioning of the Extension or any related services.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Extension.
  • Use the Extension to distribute harmful or malicious content.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals or entities.
  • Create multiple accounts or otherwise circumvent usage limits.
  • Use automated means to manipulate any platform's systems beyond the intended functionality of the Extension.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, and content, are owned by the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without Our explicit permission.

License Grant

We grant You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension in accordance with these Terms.

Free and Paid Features

The Service offers both free and paid features:

  • Free users have access to basic functionality with certain limitations.
  • Paid subscriptions provide access to advanced features, increased automation limits, and priority support.
  • Pricing and feature availability are subject to change at Our discretion.
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
  • You may cancel Your subscription at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of Your current billing period.
  • Refunds for unused portions of subscriptions are subject to Our refund policy, available upon request.

Data Privacy

Your account information, Role settings, Preferences, and usage data are stored on Our servers. The Extension interacts with supported platforms (currently X) in real-time based on Your settings. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party AI services for content analysis and decision-making. The use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your access to the Service immediately for any violation of these Terms, including but not limited to abuse of the automation features or violation of platform terms of service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to Your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Any actions taken by the Extension on Your behalf
  • Changes to Your feed or account status on supported platforms
  • Suspension or termination of Your account on supported platforms
  • Any technical issues or service interruptions

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at Our discretion. We will notify Users of any material changes via the Extension, email, or other communication channels. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
